[...have at you, you line eating monster....------>.....] Many thanks to all who replied to my request for Britain traveling info!! Now my question is on traveling with my Mac. Has anyone had experience taking their Mac to England? Beyond the step-down transformer and adaptors, what else will I need? Does anyone have any good recommendations for these power-related things (I've heard horror stories of people who have toasted their Macs all across Europe..ugly!) I remember reading an article in Macworld about some sort of....hmmm what was the word....Carnets...that one should buy before leaving the US to avoid paying a hefty customns deposit upon entering a foreign country. What's the real scoop on these? Is it worth it for me to buy one of these and cart my Mac to the UK or should I just take *all* my notes by hand and wait till I get back to work them into my Mac David Huth [dch@dartmouth.edu]
