Does anyone recall an album made with Ella Fitzgerald and Ray Charles doing the opera, "Porgy and Bess"? It was one of the best pieces of jazz I have ever heard. If anyone knows of this album, please let me know. Thanks! M. Ashley AT&T-BL ihuxm!marno

One is a Verve album from the '50s with Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. The other is a Pablo recording from the late '70s with Ray Charles and Cleo Laine. The Charles-Laine record is easily the better of the two. Marvin P. Vernon
