Recent talk of the List Manager reminded me of this library I wrote for Lightspeed C to provide the List Manager routines. To clarify matters: the List Manager is NOT part of the new ROMs. It is PACK 0, and is used just like any other package. If you don't have it in your system file for some reason, you can move it there from any recent version of ResEdit. You will also need the LDEF 0 resource if you want to use standard text lists. I have used this library in three vastly different contexts so far, so I'm pretty sure it works. I am posting a PackIt file to net.sources.mac containing the sources to the new library in MDS format, along with the .Rel, .voc, and .Lib. The source should be easily customizable to support any other package. I am also including a C file demonstrating calls to the most often used routines. To use the library, just Add the .Lib to your project and include ListMgr.h. I hereby place this code in the public domain. - Walt -- Walter Smith, Math/CS undergraduate, Carnegie-Mellon University uucp: ...!seismo!cmu-cs-k!wrs arpa: wrs@wb1.cs.cmu.edu usps: 5139 Forbes Ave.; Pittsburgh, PA 15213
