In the May issue of MacTutor Megamax, Inc. advertises a New
Version 3.0 of Megamax C. New features listed are:
o New, faster code generation. Sieve time 3.22 seconds.
o Full HFS support.
o Full Apple Talk support.
I called them to ask about their upgrade policy. The woman
answering indicated that this new version is set for release on June
27th and upgrades can be had by sending in original disks and $15.

If Megamax \ever/ gets this out, I will regard it as a gift. I have already written off the $15 I sent them for the upgrade after the 4th or 5th quoted date came and went. Not to mention the $89 I sent them for their debugger which was promised for last October. October! I am now using Lightspeed. It is no wonder that Megamax sales have dried up. Let this be a lesson to all developers -- Megamax had a hot product, but they have totally failed to support it. Stew
