jdb@mordor.ARPA (John Bruner) (05/28/86)
I have posted (in net.sources.mac) the source to a BSD UNIX program which extracts FONT resources from a Macintosh resource file and creates files in vfont format. Since Sun screen fonts are in vfont format, this program allows Macintosh fonts to be used on a Sun. Note: some fonts for the Macintosh are protected by copyright and/or licensing agreements. These may restrict the conversion and/or copying of fonts to other machines. (On the other hand, many fonts are available in the public domain.) My font converter is intended for legal uses only. -- John Bruner (S-1 Project, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory) MILNET: jdb@mordor [jdb@s1-c.ARPA] (415) 422-0758 UUCP: ...!ucbvax!dual!mordor!jdb ...!seismo!mordor!jdb
