A friend of mine read in a newspaper that WHN-AM might be going all sports. I'm just curious if anyone out there knows any Country & Western radio stat- ions in the New York City area. I'd appreciate any info. Thanks, Shawn P. Daly New York Blood Center

Daly > New York Blood Center *** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE *** It has been almost a year and a half since I have been to New York, but last I remember there is a FM C&W station called KHJK (Kick) and its somewhere in the 100's of the dial (might be 105), I few years past it had replaced a very good Jazz and Latin station. If KHJK is not there anymore (as a C&W station) could someone let me know what it now is, if anything. I will be back in the city this summer. Thanks. Forget about trying to get WKHK (Kick-FM) on your dial. For the last year or so, it's been WLTW (Lite-FM) playing "Adult Contemporary" music. The only C&W music in the Tri-State Metro area is WHN-AM. A question on the side: With as many people as there are around here, why are all the radio stations so much the same? -Warren Moe houxf!wrmoe
