Hello ... This is my first submission to a USENET group, so here goes! I just sold my external 400K drive, and was going to get an 800K to replace it. Then I though, "for another 'few' hundred dollars, I could get a HARD disk"! I've seen prices for 800K floppy drives as low as $200, and hard disks (Paradise 10M) for as low as $550. I'm looking for recommendations, that is - should I 'go hard', and if so, which drive(s) have good 'reputations'? I'm trying to keep my cost as LOW as possible, hence I'm personally not (yet) interested in the more expensive hard drives. I'd like to hear from people with Paradises, MacBottoms, etc - are these low-priced hard disks reliable?! Thanks ........................ Jim at NIO (FGVAXU::LAING)
