---------- Of the several C compilers available for the Mac, are any more suitable for scientific applications? General problems I'm interested in are solving systems of differential equations, inverting large matrices, computing particle trajectories, etc. In rough order, my priorities are: 1. Complete support for floating point, with (at least) 80 bit reals and a math lib with corresponding accuracy 2. Ability to handle data structures of around 10K reals 3. Good (Mac-like) development evironment 4. Fast execution speed on fp operations 6. Cost I've not found a review of C compilers for the Mac in the sea of Macintosh publications; if anyone can point me to one that would be great. I would especially like reviews from C compiler users programming related (or really any) applications. I'll summerize for the net. Thanks.
