I am interested in bying a 20 Megabyte Micha internal drive. I tried one out at a local computer store and it was amazing? Recent reports indicate that it is about as fast as the Hyperdrive? I would like to know from present owners how they like it? 1) Is the fan and disk fairly quiet! 2) Was it easy to install? 3) How fast is it and how well does the print spoooler work? 4) Do you have the 2 or 4 Megabyte ram upgrade? 5) Have you had any problems with its durability or shock taking ability? 6) Have you owned or tried any other disk drives? Thank you for your help?

(A side benefit) 2) MICAH installed it for me, but it seemed very easy. 3) It is faster than the GCC Hyperdrive. I talked to MICAH today, a brand new print spooler is coming out within 2 weeks, the old is ok, but the new is supposed to be great!!! 4) The 4 meg upgrade is on hold (Mac Power problems), the 2 meg upgrade will be available in 2-3 weeks (ie, I don't have one yet) 5) I DROPPED MY MAC on a PARKING LOT pavement saturday, Everything still runs without a problem. 6) I had a Hyperdrive, I didn't like it (it was 10 meg), because it had some problems withingh using undocumented low core locations for flags. The MICAH doesn't do this. I love my MICAH AT-20 drive. Long live MICAH...... It boots Macpaint, with picture in 3-4 seconds, the whole system in 9. The only problem I have had is that it will not come up with a 800K external floppy connected. It bongs, then the memtest screen doesn't come up, and it bongs and clicks every 1 1/2 to 2 seconds after that. I think it is the power sucked up by the drive and/or floppy. MICAH is looking in on the problem right now, will keep everybody informeed of the outcome. Phil Hunt sivax!calma
