Has anyone done Macpaint files on the laserwriter? After some persistence I finally got something to print out on the laserwriter at work with a postscript file generated on my Mac at home. Thanks for all the help! However, I still have some questions. I made a postscript file of a thunderscanned tiger, and the laserwriter output seems kindof coarse compared to what the laserwriter ought to be able to do. I realize that this is because of the bitmapped Macpaint resolution, (I hear that drawings generated with MacDraw look much better on the laserwriter). To get better resolution of a macpaint doc on a laserwriter, can a reduction be done to increase the resolution (less coarse)? What is the optimal reduction? Should this reduction be done at the Mac when selecting print options, -OR- can the reduction be done at the laserwriter with a postscript command? Does anybody have any neat postscript pictures, drawings, fonts, etc which they can post to the net, or mail me? Larry McWilliams ihnp4!labsms!lmm -or- okstate!uokvax!occrsh!labsms!lmm
