I've noticed lately that several people have been having problems with FullPaint. I can only suggest that you read the manual several times as there are a lot of short cuts for power users that you can miss by reading the manual only once. So, to clear up some of the questions: To Select an area larger than only what you can see in the window, hold down the Option Key when making the marquee. You can then scroll to surround the entire document. (FullPaint Manual - Page 63 & 77). Double-clicking on the marquee tool will select the entire active window. Triple-clicking on the marquee tool will select the entire active document. (Page 56). Mouse Crawl (when selected from the Goodies menu and Preferences item AND when you lock the Caps Lock key down) enlarges the mouse to cursor movement ratio. You have to move the mouse a large distance for the cursor on the screen to move a short distance. This helps you accurately place start and end points of rectangles, lines, ovals, etc. "An Example of Mouse Crawl Usage (page 49) Turn Mouse Crawl on before beginning to draw a line or shape in order to start in the exact location desired. Once the drawing is started, keep the mouse button held down and unlock the Caps Lock key to turn off the feature, then continue drawing out the object. When you near the completion point of the drawing, press the Caps Lock key again - while keeping the mouse button held down - and end your drawing in the exact location desired." Anyway, I like FullPaint a lot. It really helps to be able to use the full screen for doing Fat Bits clean up on ThunderScanned paintings. Being able to open 4 paintings at a time to cut & paste between them is also nice. -- ---------------- Craig Hosoda - Whole Earth 'Lectronic Link - Sausalito, CA usenet: {dual,hplabs,ptsfa,lll-crg,glacier}!well!hosoda MCI: CHOSODA GEnie: CHOSODA Compu$erve: 76545,154
