[ nibble, nibble, munch, munch ] Thanks to all who replied about transferring MAC pictures to a PC (ugh). I used RedRyder (9.2 w/out documentation :-() and XMODEM to a PC running Innovative Systems' SMART Communications Package and it seemed to work fine. I copied both MacPaint and MacDraw files -- and used MacView (from BIX via Boeing) to look at the Paint stuff. Haven't found anything yet to diddle with the Draw files. I did run into a slight problem trying to use KERMIT -- which is why I switched to XMODEM (and limited the PC's I could access). It seems that the KERMIT we have (RedRyder and 1.1C on the PC) didn't want to transfer Paint or Draw documents at all -- the headers would go over fine and then I would start getting errors with the first data block. But, an all text file transferred perfectly. It has been mentioned that maybe we were only using KERMIT configured for 7 bit transfers -- that would explain why text files make it but not the others. In anycase I don't know how to reconfigure either version --. but thanks again for all the help. -- IamTCMIamTCMIamTCMIamTCMIamTCMIamTCMIamTCMIamTCMIamTCMIamTCMIamTCMIamTCMIamTCM Steven D.
