I have posted the binaries for Calendar 1.3 to mod.mac.binaries. Calendar 1.3, the third release of Calendar, is a desk accessory that iis a permanent desk calendar with notepa. Calendar 1.3 is a 15k desk accessory, so it is most suitable for people with hard disks. This release fixes numerous bugs connected with Undo. It fixes bugs connected with dates near the turn of the century. It fixes bugs connected with printing dates far in the past or far in the future. It now looks for its Calendar File on the same disk as the System file. It adds controls to jump forward and back by decades. Note: Calendar 1.3 will not let you move back before 1753 because the British colonies accepted our current calendar in September of 1752. The change caused September 1752 to be shortened by 10 days. There were riots in England, as angry tenants shouted "Give us back our ten days" for you see, they were charged a full months rent. Calendar 1.3 uses the international package to print dates, so people in other countries will find that it does the right thing. I hope you like Calendar 1.3. I am continuing to improve and correct it, and I would appreciate suggestions, praise, and blame. --- David Phillip Oster -- "The goal of Computer Science is to Arpa: oster@lapis.berkeley.edu -- build something that will last at Uucp: ucbvax!ucblapis!oster -- least until we've finished building it."

They're just giving us back our ten days :-). -- Time for a new catchy phrase in my Howard C. Simonson .signature, now if I could only ...{dragon,hplabs,ihnp4,nsc}!amdahl!howard think of one...
