I am looking for a font that provides mathematical symbols of the form commonly used by statisticians. These symbols are different from those available from the GenMath and Symbol fonts in that extensive use is made of accents. I require a font capable of providing the following, for example: _ ^ ~ X and Y and Z . Moreover, the font must be capable of adding these and a few other accents over top of all the Greek letters and both Latin and Greek letters in Boldface. If you are user of MacEqn, I would appreciate discovering if MacEqn has this capability before I buy MacEqn--otherwise MacEqn is useless to me. I believe my only other option is to pay CAN$1200 for MacTex and to invest in a 30 Mb hard disc if no such fonts exist and MacEqn doesn't handle the problem. I'll post the results of this "questionnaire" in a few weeks to "net.micro.mac" after giving some time to receive responses by either mail, telephone, or e-mail. K.
