<> I recently had my Mac w/American keyboard upgraded to Plus in the U.K. I did not want the new keyboard, and unfortunately the system does not map keys correctly for an Amerian keyboard. I can currently work by booting from an old system, and then changing to the new, but does anyone know how to change the system's mind about my keyboard? Thanks in advance, Michael Fischer seismo!mcvax!ukc!mf1

The best solution is to get a US system disk, but barring that, you can copy the resources INIT 0 and INIT 1 from your older disk to your newer. This may not work if your old system is too old however. Then again there may be a utility that you have to do just that (REdit and Localizer come to mind.) _emt
