[net.micro.mac] Unpit 0.3

tdn@spice.cs.cmu.edu (Thomas Newton) (10/03/86)

I am posting to net.sources.mac a new version of Unpit. Unlike the previous
versions of Unpit, the new version has the ability to produce compressed .pit
files in addition to the ability to decode them. (Since I didn't post Unpit
0.2 to the net, the differences between it and version 0.1 were (a) the alias
for EDIT'CLEAR was removed, as it didn't work, (b) code was added to call the
Disk Initialization Package so that new/damaged disks wouldn't act "dead" when
inserted, and (c) some bad calls to an error-reporting function were fixed).
As the Napolean of Crime recently reposted an earlier version of Unpit, I have
taken the liberty of using the new Unpit to encode itself (for a ~3K savings
prior to BinHexing).
