No, I haven't become a meta-fly. Something even more insidious. Here's the
straight poop:
Have been turning the power on my Mac+ (which is hooked to a Dataframe 20,
an Imagewriter I and the old Robotics Apple 300/1200 Modem -- and I power up
the Dataframe first), I get the "Bong", but instead of the blank grey screen
while the memory check occurs, I get a dark screen with a block of grey in
the middle and the Sick Mac Icon. Underneath it is the hex number "0200FF".
The first time this happened, I though, "Oh, no, repair time". However, it
was fine when I tried it again in 15 minutes. It has occured again,
sometimes curable by (belive it or not) placing a disk in the drive, turning
the machine off and booting off of the disk! Sometimes even that doesn't
work.
Anyone understand what's going on? Could you drop me a line if you do?
"Sorority girls! I'll get you sorority girls!"
"Nah...."
