Recently I've been receiving a lot of mail from people who want copies of UW v3.4a and are afraid that they've missed seeing it on USENET (news). (ARPANET-connected sites can obtain UW via anonymous FTP from S1-C.ARPA) The combination of my last-minute fix, unreliable UUCP mail, and a 4.2BSD->4.3BSD conversion near "felix" have delayed UW from being posted in one of the moderated Mac newsgroups. I spoke by telephone with Roger Long earlier this week, and he told me that news was temporarily out of order on his main news feed.
