[ Even though I have myself predicted the decline of COMDEX (and am in good company at that) I can't help but wonder though. Just when some major companies have started a "MAC-only" policy because they determined that it takes only 20% of the effort to learn to do something, and when Apple thus could cause the IBM-world at the show to feel like they are on the sinking boat that they are on (-: ... Apple lets the opportunity to humiliate the PC slip through their fingers. Am I missing something? ] [ page 14 ] COST CONTROL, MAC SALES SPUR 151% RISE IN APPLE'S '86 NET. .. more than doubled income in fiscal '86, ending Sept 26 despite nearly flat sales, Apple's net-income soared from 61 to 154 million.....
