First of all: please no partisan or religious flames regarding mac vs amiga. ok? ASDG Inc. is looking for an AppleTalk expert to port the full functionality of AppleTalk to a new peripheral for the Amiga. The ASDG SMGC and SMGC+ are boards which comply to the Amiga expansion standard. They contain four dma driven serial devices which we have designed (to the best of our knowledge) to be compatible with the requirements of AppleTalk. More than one SMGC or SMGC+ can be added to the bus allowing for 4, 8, 12, .... AppleTalk links on one Amiga. Our goal is to have the full functionality of AppleTalk ported to our SMGC by the end of the first quarter, 1987. A port to our SMGC+ to be completed soon after. (The SMGC+ has everything the SMGC has but also 128K of dual ported memory as well as a local 68K thus the AppleTalk protocols would run on their own processor). We're flexibile as far as terms...the only thing we're inflexible on is the quality of the end result. It must be 1st rate. Please contact ASDG by e-mail at the well (well!perry). By telephone, call 201 - 540 - 9670. Please, contact us only if you're really interested. Thanks very much.
