Does North Dakota Exist? What is the relationship between the objective universe and the perceived universe? Does anyone besides me exist? I and my environment and you in your environment are explicitly different, but implicitly we go together. Your behavior is not something that can be seperated from the behavior of the world around you. Think of the world as a tree and we are the leaves on its branches. We are not birds sitting on a dead tree. You are something the whole world is doing. All that there is, that is you. You are North Dakota. The external world is your own body extended.
