[net.misc] Checks? How about Wills?

Serendipitously, this whole discussion brought to my mind a story
about wills. Seems that a man rolled his car on a lonely road and
was trapped and bleeding to death. He wrote his will with his own
blood on the car door before he died. A court judged it to be a
legal will, and had it used. Pretty gross, but interesting
nonetheless...

Precisely what is a legal document is a very shifty question, I think...

I read about the guy who died in his car in a "Stranger
Than True" type book. He wrote ALL TO MOM in blood on
the windshield. A will, like his, is valid as long as it
is completely written in your own handwriting.

For those of you who know me, I VERY recently had to think
about a quick will. Now I can be more relaxed about it.
