Information on Dvorak keyboards may be obtained from Quick Strokes Box 643 West Sacramento, CA 95691 (916) 446-3377 which publishes a quarterly of the same name devoted to the Dvorak keyboard arrangement. Their Fall 1978 issue mentions that IBM will supply Selectrics with the Oregon Dvorak layout for a slight premium. Quick Strokes itself sells pica and elite balls for the Camwil variant of Dvorak ($85 in 1979). Alternatively, they will also supply a conversion chart that shows a serviceperson how to modify the keyboard layout for use with regular elements. An additional source of information is Dvorak International Federation PO Box 13113 Salem, OR 97309

A couple of years ago IBM would supply any non-standard type-ball you specified (for a almost reasonable price). I think they still do this, and still don't consider Dvorak to be in any way standard.
