Our most pressing problems obviously are the following: 1. The well-known evil influence of North Dakota. Alas, it is clear that the place exists -- and shouldn't. 2. The uncertainty of the effectiveness of the dense-pack basing concept for MX. I propose, uh, killing two birds with one stone. Clearly, the thing to do is to run a full-scale live-warheads field test of dense-pack in North Dakota. Preferably when I'm on vacation, i.e. outside the fallout track. Henry Spencer U of Toronto

There is no need to entrench "dense pack" or any other inanities within the boundaries of North Dakota in order to ensure its destruction. Good/Evil influences aside, I'm sure that the missiles already aimed at the hundreds of Minuteman missiles already there will do the job quite nicely.
