What is a definition of a netnews site? In the directory, there is at least one -- esquire, which connects to harpo, unless it has disconnected lately. It belongs to Davis Polk & Wardwell, a large law firm using UNIX for office automation (quote from the directory). In fact, I communicated by mail several times with a guy named Nat there (are you still there Nat?) So, by definition, New York City exists because esquire is located there.
