Several statements were made to the effect that circular motion cannot be treated within the context of special relativity. This is a misconception. The proper time along any path between any two space time points can be calculated by integration. The only restriction is that the coordinates which describe the path must be wrt an inertial frame. The result will be the same whatever inertial frame is used, for a given path. Lew Mammel, Jr. ihuxr!lew
