Many years ago, I bought a DYMO 1550 labeler. It came with three typewheels, big horizontal, little horizontal, and vertical letters. All letters are upper case and the number of specials differs on each. On the vertical wheel (DYMO 905873A), in addition to uppercase A-Z and -./&, there are the four arrows (up, down, hither, and yon) and the three lower case letters a, c, and o. A few years ago I wrote to DYMO to ask why these three. They told me that that particular wheel was out of the catalog and no one there remembered it. Furthermore none of their current wheels had that peculiarity. Every time I make a label, I wonder why these three... and why only on the vertical wheel. Any suggestions? --Dick Wexelblat (decvax!ittvax!wexel)
