Although not in disfavor of religion, although organized religion sometimes gives me the shivers, I frequently will argue against "faith" and fanaticalism by pointing out the following: If Satan is as powerful as he is supposed to be, and if humans are as fallible as *they* are supposed to be (and of that I have little doubt), then there is the strong possibility that organized religion, worship, our concept of God, and all the rest (including the Bible, the Koran, Murphy's Laws, etc.) are invented by the all-powerful Satan to lead us into a state where we no longer think freely but follow blindly, and cling obstinately to these "comforting" or "inspiring" truths. Maybe it's all reasonable, or maybe it's all way off base, but to accept it without doubting your own fallibility or considering the possibility that you could be profoundly **WRONG** is asking for it, I think. Why can't people keep an open mind on the matter of religion or the existence of GOD? I think it is more reasonable to doubt him/her and just basically try to live right, and if you are wrong in doubting, tat (that) should be to your credit, in God's eyes.... Glenn Reid
