I strongly doubt you don't have SCCS if you've got full UNIX. (at least the development system C & such). However there is no program called SCCS. It is actually made up of several programs, admin, get, delta, etc. -- Jay Denebeim "One world, one egg, one basket." {seismo,decvax,ihnp4}!mcnc!rti-sel!ethos!jay Deep Thought, ZNode #42 300/1200/2400 919-471-6436

The C compiler and "software generation utilities" do NOT include SCCS. SCCS is available to binary licensees as an OPTION costing more $$. ==> Larry Lippman @ Recognition Research Corp., Clarence, New York <== ==> UUCP {decvax|dual|rocksanne|rocksvax|watmath}!sunybcs!kitty!larry <== ==> VOICE 716/741-9185 {rice|shell}!baylor!/ <== ==> FAX 716/741-9635 {G1, G2, G3 modes} duke!ethos!/ <== ==> seismo!/ <== ==> "Have you hugged your cat today?" ihnp4!/ <==

Some other workstation vendors, under the funny impression that they know what their customers are going to use the station for (i.e. not software development) do not bundle any form of source code/revision control software. In other words, WRONG. -- Jim Budler Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (408) 749-5806 Usenet: {ucbvax,decwrl,ihnp4,allegra,intelca}!amdcad!jimb Compuserve: 72415,1200
