I just tried to compile the latest gnuplot (v1.1, I believe) on my AT with Microsoft C 4.0. Seems term.c wants a header, mcega.h, for egalib that was not included with the posting. Am I supposed to have it somewhere else? BTW, the original posting has been running on a VAX, 3b2, and AT all running SysVr2 with great results. Thanks to the authors. -- .. that's the biz, sweetheart... Randy Suess chinet - Public Access UN*X (312) 545 7535 (h) (312) 283 0559 (system) ..!ihnp4!chinet!randy

Yes, I posted the entire EGA LIB to comp.sys.ibm.pc about a week before the Gnuplot posting. If you missed it for one reason or another, just edit MAKE.MSC and remove the /DEGALIB from the TERMFLAGS line. (You'll have to get rid of the 'ega' library request in LINK.OPT too.) Gnuplot will still have EGA support through the 'egabios' driver--it'll just be slower, that's all! If you were unable to get the EGA LIB from comp.sys.ibm.pc, you might try mailing a formatted floppy with SASE to the author. He says he will send out the whole library, including source code! Kent Cedola 2015 Meadow Lake Court Norfolk, VA 23518 BTW: there was a bug in the Hercules driver as posted. Make sure you get the corrected version from net.sources... -Colin Kelley ..{cbmvax,pyrnj,psuvax1,bpa}!vu-vlsi!colin
