The Computer Science Department has just acquired a number
of these systems to be used for teaching computer graphics.
They will be connected by serial lines to VAX 11-780's
running Berkeley 4.2.
As the one responsible for the initial software effort, is
there anything I should know (other than what appears in the
Raster Tech manuals)? I would also like to hear about any
novel approaches to using these displays as well as any
software that may be available. Specific comments on the
macro capability, code development for the Z8002 and usage
under unix would be appreciated.
