[net.wanted.sources] General Pattern Recognition Software.

mark@elsie.UUCP (Mark J. Miller) (10/10/84)

We are in need of a general multivariate data analysis and pattern
recognition computer system that will run under UNIX (tm) (4.X BSD).
Something like the ARTHUR81 system developed by Kowalski and co-workers at
the Lab for Chemometrics would seem to fit many of our needs (dispite the
distributers (B&B Associates, Seattle, Wash.) liturature, this system has
not been ported to UNIX).

We are involved in experiments that follow, quantitatively, the rate
of synthesis of hundreds of proteins. We are looking for programs that will
help us to organize these proteins into related groups.
