GROUNDHOG FAILS TO SEE SHADOW Winter Soon To Be Over Punxatawney, PA -- Punxatawney Phil, the groundhog, failed to see its shadow when it emerged from its hole today. Traditionally, this means that less than six weeks of winter are left. Members of the Groundhog Club here said that in the 96 years they have been keeping track, Phil has failed to see its shadow only five times.
