THE 1980'S DOO-WOP ALBUM - IT'S ARRIVED

I recently picked up a copy of the above mentioned album. It's on
BAB records out of New Jersey. If you have an appreciation for
soaring leads, floating first tenors, real bass singers and tight
harmony this album is a must. There's full orchestration including
chimes, bells, vibes, wind chimes etc. All of the selections are
original from "Rainy Days In New York" to "The Angel Of 4th Avenue"
right through "Infatuation" and "Looking." The album spotlights
two groups local to New Jersey, The Infernos and The Autumns.
At times the voices chime in one at a time and sound like chapel
bells ringing from the rooftops. The true sound of the city.
The album has a great mix of uptempo finger poppers and slow
ballads. Unlike many of the more recent doo-wop type albums
this one is actractively packaged and well annotated. I doubt
though that this will be found in a Top 40 type record shop.
For those who may be interested I'm including the following:
