Apparently I have not communicated so well to the net. For those of you who care, I have a copy of UMODEM that runs under USG unixes. It also has #ifdef's for V7, but I've never tried those to see if they work. Be warned that the UMODEM for Sys V recently mentioned by geoff does NOT seem to have the 4.2 defines that some versions currently possess. So you cannot depend on this particular version being "all encompassing" in that regard. Other recent changes may also be missing, though I haven't checked. --Lauren--
