The other day a friend mentioned in the middle of an otherwise interesting conversation, that the number of the beast, six hundred, three score, and six, should be interpreted as: 600-60-0006 (No, the IRS doesn't match up names with numbers, even if you ask real nicely. btw, the day Reagan was elected the lottery number in Maryland came up 666. Just a coincidence?

Wasn't the Maryland "666" lottery the one where fraud was declared and several people convicted of tampering? As I recall, there was some Eastern lottery where the balls were rigged so that only 4's and 6's could appear, and "666" was definitely the number that came up. --Lauren--
