[net.wanted.sources] anyone got a GO source?

At the Usenix which just ended there was YAGT (yet another Go tournament)
complete with prizes. I think it would be great if some or all of the
entrants into the tournament would post their programs so the world can
understand and hack and improve and play them, maybe producing better ones
for the next Usenix tournament. Any takers?

The strongest of the games in the USENIX Go tourney (Nemesis) is
commercially available from the author (Bruc Wilcox). Nemisis plays at
about 20 kyu, with a 15 kyu version in the works. And no, I don't know how
to get in contact with him.

There were some mutterings from Peter Langston that he would post the winner
(oog) to the net. Oog isn't as strong as Nemesis in real play, though, losing
to Nemisis whenever they met.

I just found out how. The latest Sun Catalyst (3rd party software)
catalog includes an entry for "NEMESIS..The Go Master" which Bruce sells
for $75 in object code. Source is reportedly not available. Bruce is
listed at +1 617 863 1454.
