[net.wanted.sources] Wanted: a VW Rabbit/GTI

rh01@bunny.UUCP (Ramesh Harjani) (07/31/85)

I am looking a round for a second hand Rabbit or GTI. I would prefer the
GTI as far as preferences go. As usual, the decision hinges on the
quality of the car, the colour, and the price. I would like something
relatively new: after 1980 ( You call that new !!!) and don't want them in
shocking pink or purple. Most other colours are fine. If possible I would
prefer a stick shift.

Any pointers will be appreciated. I would also like to know if it is better to
buy from a dealer or from a single owner. If anyone knows of any good dealers
around the Boston area, send me a line.

thanks in advance

ramesh.

Considering that the request was made on net.sources.wanted,
you must be interested in a C or Pascal version of the Rabbit GTI. Would
you be interested in picking up one with a structured transmission from
Chicago or the west coast ?
