The phenomena involving detection of the bio=energetic field that Ken Turkowski was describing in his article titled "Kirlian Photography" is discussed in detail in "The Therapeutic Touch," by Dolores Krieger, Ph.D., R.N., professor of nursing at NYU. The book deals with a newly discovered nursing technique involving the manipulation of the energy field surrounding the body. Pain can be relieved, and other effects demonstrated. The exercises in the book enable anyone to experiment with this energy and to determine for him/herself that "you do not stop at your skin; there is a field beyond your skin boundaries which can be experienced." Worth reading.
