Any kind soul out there got Kermit onto their Apple? I want it and have the distribution but have been warned that the booting procedure for the Apple is horrible. If you have done it send me mail and we can discuss how I might get a copy of your disk. I have a 2e with the 80 columns but without the extry RAM. The interface is a funny one (from Pure Data - love that name...) which maybe can be coerced to look like an Apple Communications Card for Kermit's benefit. I don't have a Z80 card. -- Doug Collinge School of Music, University of Victoria, PO Box 1700, Victoria, B.C., Canada, V8W 2Y2 decvax!nrl-css!uvicctr!collinge decvax!uw-beaver!uvicctr!collinge ubc-vision!uvicctr!collinge

If you have the source code I have access to both the Programmers Toolkit Assembler and Big Mac (Merlin) and a third one that I don't know much about. I should be able to handle most assembler formats. -- Doug Collinge School of Music, University of Victoria, PO Box 1700, Victoria, B.C., Canada, V8W 2Y2 decvax!nrl-css!uvicctr!collinge decvax!uw-beaver!uvicctr!collinge ubc-vision!uvicctr!collinge

I'ld also like to get a copy of a Kermit disk. I have a plain vanilla Apple ][c. Does anyone know if the Apple Kermit will work on a two-see? Dave Wade, Keeper of frogs for Los Alamos National Labs... I have the latest MacKermit and it works well on everything except a Cray, but that will be fixed soon.
