Once upon a time we copied some sources off of okstate's kermit directory, but now it no longer seems to work for us. All our requests seem to vanish into the ether. No bad uuxqt messages or anything. Do they still provide the kermit service to the world, and if they do what are the incantations. Here is what I tried : $ uucp okstate!/u/kermit/00* /usr/spool/uucppublic With an L.sys entry for okstate : okstate Any ACU 1200 14056246953 gin:--gin:--gin: uucpker sword: thefrog Can some kind soul help me out ? I have probably missed some announcement on the net concerning their setup. We dont seem to have problems with anyone but okstate with our uucp setup, so I fairly confident that the problem is not there. I appreciate any help.
