*** REPLACE THIS LINE WITH YOUR MESSAGE *** I am attempting to hack a UNIX driver that will allow multiple logical user sessions to communicate via a single physical TTY port. In my request of net.unix I have received two replies pointing to a driver called xt.c, indicating that it might be a good place to start. Can anyone provide a more substantial pointer to this source, or even mail a copy of it to me? Thank you. Brian Lloyd, WB6RQN ...![bellcore!cp1]!yojna1!wb6rqn

We can't mail it to you, but if you call (800)828-UNIX I imagine they'll be happy to discuss licensing. The somewhat related "sxt" is shipped as a standard part of UNIX System V Release 2.

what about x.pc? officially, Tymshare distributes only the slave code, but i don't think it would be too hard to write a server. i'd like to work on it, but won't have the time for a while (probably one or two years :-). kelvin nilsen
