I am currently seeking out a MACRO assembler written in C. I would really
like to find one for the z80, but will modify it to suit my needs. My
goal is to be able to compile the ZMOS Operating System under UNIX. But,
it has this really major compiler caller MAC80 (Runs under TOPS-20, perhaps
even TOPS-10, but not UNIX). It's also not written in a portable language.
But, zmos is so winning, I am willing to meet it half way, if there is a
compiler out there that has strong macro ability, and perhaps some other
nice features, I would be willing to port zmos to compile with it.
Any assistance would be greatly apreciated. While I am at it, I should ask
anyone who is currently running ZMOS and would like to share ideas, comments
or whatever, to please drop me a line. Thanks again.
