[net.wanted.sources] Need terminal emulation software for Apple Pascal

mains@uw-june (John William Mains) (12/27/85)

Wanted: Terminal emulation software with XMODEM file transfer
protocol for Apple II running the Apple Pascal (UCSD P-System)
operating system. VT100 emulation would be a plus.

Both of these things are done by SOFTERM 2. It has many terminals as
well as DOS, CP/M & PASCAL. You can emulate a VT100 (I am doing that
now) & use XMODEM on any of those three systems. As a bonus, you
can convert files between any two of these 3 os's. (Too bad it
doesn't also have PRODOS!).
SOFTERM 2 comes in different flavors for different apple computers
and memory sizes. It lists for $195. The manufacturer is:
	SOFTRONICS, Inc.
	Memphis, Tenn. 38119

I highly support this recommendation! But note that Softerm 2 is now
available for $124.95 from many mail order outlets. I think there is
also a new release that is PRODOS compatible, but I don't think it's
available at that price.
