There have been posted some articles containing anecdotal evidence for the efficacy of dowsing. Are we really supposed to take this seriously when no one has been able to pass any of the simple and very financially rewarding tests for this ability? One of the articles said that "a shovel proved the point". How could it, when there was no comparsion against the efficacy of wild guesses? There is anecdotal evidence for all sorts of wondrous things. My favorite is the "Picture of the Virgin Mary weeps tears of blood" that you see once in a while. We should all remember Humes treatment of miracles and be a little more hard headed.
