I am looking for the rules which govern the computer game known as life, so i can adapt these rules into a program using a particular windowing package i work with. Also i would appreciate any working copy of the game of life anyone out there might have that they could send to me. Also i would also appreciate the rules and/or sources for any other computer game/simulation which generates interesting patterns and/or nicely displays the functions/capabilities of a windowing package.
