[net.wanted.sources] BBS software wanted

[ This one's for you! ]

Does anyone know of any BBS software that runs under U*IX that is
<SECURE>? I'm the sysop of a homebrew system that is always under
attack by hackers, so I need more than a simple conferencing system.
The ideal program would be something along the lines of TBBS or the
Bulletin Board Construction Set, and preferably runs under 2.xBSD.
An e-mail facility is a must, as well as a message base, download
capability (minimum: XON/XOFF w/ text; XMODEM would be big plus),
and the ability to fork other U*IX programs. Other niceties would
be access levels, multiple message bases, accounting/usage utilities,
reply trails, and nested menu pages. Although public domain s/w is
obviously desirable, *good* commercial s/w with sources would be worth
paying for.

I am also looking fo a BBS program like TBBS for my XENIX 3.00.1 system. I
have been looking for about 6 mo's now with no luck. If anyone had such a
BBS program or for that matter any BBS program please send me some mail
about it. Also if there are not such programes out there I would welcome
any 'C' programers that would like to try a BBS program to also send me
some mail.

I do have a few leads that I am not checking out. If I do happen to find
a BBS program that is in the PD I will probley send it to net.sources. And
if I find one that is not PD I will post some messages on how to and where
to get such software.

All replys / pointers are welcome.
