[net.wanted.sources] Key Board Buffer Expander Wanted.

mshiels@watdragon.UUCP (Michael Shiels @WatDragon) (04/14/86)

[ gobble gobble, burp ]

I am looking for a very specific keyboard buffer expander.

It must have it's own buffer to store characters in when they are typed, but
this extra buffer would only be used when the DOS standard buffer is full.

ie. it takes the characters and tries to put them in the standard DOS buffer,
if it is full then they would be stored in another buffer, which would be added
character by character to the DOS buffer when ever there is space.

Is it possible for this to be written, Has any one done so??????

I have buffer expanders but they just use a new buffer for storing the characters
and this wont work with some of the resident programs i have which will look in the
Dos buffer for there trigger character. ie (^PF10 etc)

thanx. michael a. shiels

Why is it that people with Inherently Bogus Machine company Pieces of Crap,
CP/M, and other micros cannot confine their machine/system specific queries
and discussions to the appropriate newsgroups?

Are you really all that illiterate, or do you *ENJOY* irritating people
who don't own the same machine you do?

For the record: The IBM PC is not only *NOT* the only personal computer
on the market, it was a late comer, is inherently flawed, and anyone who
would voluntarily use one deserves what they get.

Tom,
Why don't you take your rude, narrow-minded, biased attitudes, and stuff
them. If you don't like an article, skip the remainder of it and read the next
one.

No, I'm not using an IBM. But like it or not the IBM has become the defacto
industry standard, so get used to it.
