For Sale: Magnatone Musical Instrument Amplifier: 2 15" JBL Musical Instrument speakers (more rugged than hi-fi speakers) 2 2"X6" Jensen horns 2 100 Watt RMS amplifiers (one for each speaker/horn) 2 input channels with seperate volume, bass, trebble and mode one channel has reverb and 'swinging sound' tremolo, both with jacks for foot switches This is a great amp for vocals and other instruments in addition to guitars because of its wide frequency respones compared to a standard guitar amp (60Hz to 12kHz). The mode switch allows you to switch in high or low pass filters as needed. With the low pass filter switched in the thing makes a great guitar amp. The 'swinging sound' tremolo uses filters and phase shifters in addition to amplitude modulation to get a sound more like that of a leslie speaker system, or a 'phasor'. The unit is approximately 4'h x 20"w x 10"d, weighs about 100 lbs and is on casters. It has a fitted cover with rigid panels to protect the speakers durring transport.
