[na.forsale] Computing equipment for sale

jay@isis.UUCP (Jay Batson) (08/08/86)

Wouldn't you know my timing was terrific. Just after I posted
my original "for sale" article, the system here became
unavailable for the majority part of this week. So, for those
of you whose mail was returned as "host unavailable", try
again, and here's the posting again to refresh your
recollection. I need to find some buyers, so feel free to
call or write. Keep those cards and letters coming.

Original posting follows......

For Sale:

Lots of stuff, all of it good!! Make an offer for all, or part.

     1 - NCR Tower 1632, a 68000 UNIX Supermicro, configured
with 1 meg memory, _2_ 8-channel serial I/O ports (in addition
to the 2 serial I/O's on the main processor board - total 18
serial I/O ports, although we've never put the Tower to
	such a load...), and 5 1/4" (+/- 1 meg) floppy; includes an
EXPANSION CABINET with 1/4" streamer, power supply
and 84 meg fujitsu 8" disc.

     1 - CIPHER 890-2 1/2" 9-track tape drive; 1600/___3200___!!! BPI.
Systech HTC-4000 multibus controller card in Tower, along with
	custom device driver.

     1 - CI-600 dot-matrix line printer (similar to Printronix [36]00);
prints up to 600 lpm at 10 cpi/6 lpi. Has varying print options
to go up to 17.8 cpi (incl 12 and 13 cpi) and 8 lpi, with
"LQ" mode, and graphics capabilities. Have a dozen or two ribbons
	to go with it.

1 - Juki 6100 LQ printer (emulates diablo), with serial card.

     1 - DEC - VT220 terminal, amber screen.

     2 - Qume QVT-102A terminals, amber screen.

     3 - Kaypro 4's, CP/M based, dual 360K floppies, with all "normal"
software as sold with the Kaypro (e.g. Wordstar, ...).

All must go. Will sell piecemeal, or as group. Prefer to keep Tower
and Cipher together if possible, in order to make sure we have a place for
the controller to go.

Call and make offers. Offers will be taken for at least 10 days from today,
August 5, 1986. E-mail offers ok, but prefer phone call to:

				Jay Batson
				Energy Logic Systems, Inc. (ELSI)
				(303) 623-3574

Other non-computer equipment available (e.g. office furnishings), but
probably not practical to make offer unless you're in Denver where we are.
